What would be really handy to me would to be able to download documents to my Drois Eris and somehow send them to my notebook for printing
We are a few months away from having DSL at our shop (waay out in the woods), and tethering isn't an option. The main example of my question is that we ship out merchandise via Fedex Ground. We have a Fedex account where I can prepare the shipment, enter the dimensions, weight, and address and then download the shipping label. That way, you walk in to the Fedex counter, hand them the shipment, and presto, yer on yer way home.
What I have to do now is to bring the shipment home where I have broadband, prepare the shipment at home, then drop it off in the morning. The problem with that is that I like to be at the shop at 7am, but the Fedex counter doesn't open until 8:30am. What would be really cool is to prepare the shipment to our account using the Eris, download the shipping label and save it in either Word or as a PDF (don't know if that's possible), then transfer it to my notebook and print it from there.
Anyone see a way to do this? Otherwise, I'm toughing it out until we get DSL.
Thanx, Geri O
