I don't know about other users, but I'm not inclined to look at these shortened 'goo' links, especially when they're all stacked up like that. Not only do I find it difficult to read, I'm not inclined to click on a link when I have no idea where it's taking me.
K.. But understand something if I was so inclined at posting a bad or not well known Link site.. At which i'm not I wouldn't posted it on here in the First place.. And if one's want to see something in a Certain Way all they have to do is ask me and if I can fix it.. If it's allowed.. I will..
O.. on Using Google's URL shortener I have seen this method used Quite a bit not only by me and a few others on here but on other Sites that i have Visited as Well, I used the method as intended to shorten the Way of the over long Links that some sites include so I hope that answers some Question. of why your seeing them..
And to fix the issue on seeing the Links to Close together, I will correct this and put them were one's can see them and can click on them.. Forum Mods please acknowledge the reason I made this Adjustment.. Thanks b33

The site I used in this thread and the one's i mostly use on here for about three years are droid life , android central, Motorola, and mildly Google Play not often do i stray to any other sites.. unless i absolutely half to..
I know why I'm seeing the shortened links. But I don't care what site they're on or who posted them ... I don't click on shortened URLs.
I'll also mention that as far as I know, a power cycle will not automatically push updates to your phone unless you have your apps set to automatically update (which I don't; I prefer to know what's being updated, how, and why, along with any possible changes in permissions).
Personally, I also prefer to know where a link is taking me before clicking on it. This information is NORMALLY gleened by looking at the link in question, something which is not available in the shortened links.
What I normally do is to link some text in my posts to the full link such as the following which would lead someone to your 1st link. When hovering over the link, my browser then displays the full link which I can read prior to clicking on it.

Unfortunately, I can not offer an example due to being on my iPad. That option I use anytime I add a link to a post on this site
