New Android Market 3.0.27 Rolling Out?

Has the new version (or a new version) of the Android Market started rolling out?  A few of our readers have seen it show up over the last few days as version 3.0.27 which differs slightly than version 3.0.26 that we posted for you a week or so ago.  To confirm their word, I’ve checked two of my phones that were updated manually and both are now running the new version of .27.

The rollout doesn’t appear to be as widespread as we had hoped, but it looks like it has started.  I know that most of you updated manually, but if you didn’t, are you seeing the new market yet?  Everyone else seeing .27 now?

I Figured out how to get the New Market Update on my Incredible an this is How You can do it.   go to this Link i provided

Once there you'll see Market 3.1.5 APK: On your android Phone go on the Web just like your P.c. an then type in your search Box android-life.com an make sure it's the full web version Once it comes up on the the Device you can get to the artical 2 ways by going page by page till you get to the artical or By Typing in the search box on the android life website on your phone New Android Market 3.1.5 an it should come up once there soom in to were you can tap the on the Zip File an it should start to down load. While it's downloading hit your home button then slide your notification shade down you can see it downloading as i did mine. when its done then Tap on it to open the file. 

 

( One thing to Note: ) You'll Need to check Unknown sources so it will accept the APK or other wise it will not but once i checked this it Accepted the download an the market app popped up an as you usally do i accepted the terms for Google and the New market was installed.  And you can find this file in on the Incredible in between clock an Face Book just Tap an your file will be there.

 

This is fairly easy to do with some Patients an alittle time you can do it.  I did it an i'm not a Tecki Genius!  Give it try if there is'nt any other way to get the new Market on your Phone.  An enjoy  From B33  :smileyhappy:

 

One Las thing to Note:

 

When you Tap Apps an slide up Under Editors Choice it still says Sprint an has Sprint Apps. this is far as i Know.! only on the Incredible.

The last official version of the Android Market was/is 2.3.6 for phones.

Which I still have. I didn't feel like installing the leaked version (3.0.26).

This newer version will only be available for phones running android 2.2 and higher.

Showed up automatically on Sunday. I was like Wow. What happened?  Then after playing with it, it looks like Google's response to developers complaints about revenue. Also movie rentals get top billing.

 

Let the spending commence.

None of my free apps show up when I look at my apps anymore.  I have no idea if they are getting updated or not.  I better not have to go through each app and click to update automatically.

 

edit - In case it isn't clear, I mean I don't see when apps need updateing by clicking 'my apps' anymore in the market update.

Users keep reporting this but if you dont need a update why would you see it report update?   Mine shows all apps I have that need updating..

Has anyone actually received this update yet (without installing manually)?  Anyone know of a quick way to get it?  I've tried clearing data, uninstalling updates, restart phone, Wi-Fi, signing into talk.  Nothing has worked.

:smileyvery-happy: My Droid Eris installed the new Market app this morning all by itself. And here I was expecting to manually installing it at some point. I only have the option for Apps or Books, but that's okay for me. :smileywink:

Hey, all,

 

My Droid 3 came with the 3.0.27 Market installed.  It is easy to search for a particular app or just browse for what you may want.  I do have to admit, I was not impressed with the Books section.  Not much to choose from when you compare it to others like Kindle.  Also, prices with Kindle seem to be a little cheaper.  Just my opinion.

i believe you can purchase books through the kindle app at the same prices as through an actual kindle.

It's still "buggy" though. It will tell me that I need to update an app that I've just updated. If I uninstall an app, rather than returning me to my previous spot, like it used to, it takes me back to the very beginning and I have to start all over again. It has some navigational bugs to sort out big time.

 

It's definitely better than it was. Don't get me wrong. Download & update times do seem faster overall. So that's a big plus. There are just a few bugs they still need to iron out though.

Sorry I mean the 3.1.3 Market update, have yet to get that version...I do have the 3.0.27 market installed.

Market has been updated again to 3.1.5 but it's a matter of when it starts Rolling out in the article i read some have got it already.  but as of yet i have Not so if you got it  Please chime in an Post.... an thank you.
