Retrieving old ringtones

I tried to get a ringtone used on older phone and even though I saw it on my acct page it told me it was sent with backup assist and I had it...

my contacts came through but can't find the tone......would like to get it before i just go and buy again.

transferred from an LG cosmos to an LG Lucid 4GTE

Ok I went on VZW ringtone store and purchased "what a wonderful world" by Louis Armstrong and now unable to download it from store to my lucid lg phone.....

received a msg from vzw but no link to ringtone

they cancelled the ringtone and I re purchased it still can't download.

usb connected from my dell to phone and nothing happens

or can't make it happen

any help appreciated

you can't get old ringtones from backup assistant unless you had it on itunes or the likes.

if you do save it on your desktop and then using a USB connect your phone to USB and just drag it over from the desktop to your phone
