I have seen the tutorials, and also read the FAQ, and also searched the boards.
It says unlimited skype to skype calling/text whether internation or domestic. Does these use minutes/text alloitments? I read it does and it doesn't, and the FAQ could be worded a little better to help **bleep** like me understand.
or is it like this.
Skype to Skype is free, but if I use it to call/text someone that isn't on skype it costs minutes/text?
a idiot proof explaination please lol.

this is my understanding (i only use it for skype to skype). skype to skype does not use your minutes. i wasn't aware you could text with skype? i know you can leave typed messages or kind of im with other skype users. none of that is considered text either. IF you use skype to call normal phones, you may have to pay for that....but to skype, not verizon. sorry i couldn't be more help.....i have only ever used it to skype with other skype users. it's nice because my plan has very few minutes so if i'm gettin close to going over and others use skype, i can call them w/o using minutes.

If you use Skype to landline, the charges will occur according to your calling plan. Hope this helps!

Hmm, I seem to be getting docked for minutes anyway for what should be a skype to skype call... What is supposed to happen when I call a skype user that happens to have a skype subscription with a landline phone number attached to their skype. Because I think its counting it as a landline phone instead of skype to skype. Which seems very wrong to me....

I am seeing minute usage also. Do they get removed at the end of the billing cycle?

Refer to the following for how Skype mobile is billed:
- A domestic Skype-to-Skype call:
- Voice & Usage= Unlimited
- Call details appear on the Skype account
2. An international Skype-to-Skype call:
- Voice & Usage= Unlimited
- Call details appear on the Skype account
3. A domestic or international Skype-to-Skype instant message:
- Voice & Usage= Unlimited
- Details appear on the Skype account
4. A call to a domestic number (either mobile or landline):
- billed according to calling plan
- Call details appear on the Verizon Wireless bill
*Note: All included plan minutes apply accordingly (i.e. Friends & Family, Mobile to Mobile, Unlimited Nights & Weekends and Anytime Minutes)
5. a call to an international number outside of the U.S. (either mobile or landline):
- Not deducted from the Verizon Wireless calling plan
- Deducted from Skype Credit (either a plan or Pay As You Go).
- Billed according to Skype long distance pricing
- Call details appear on the Skype account.

Only issue I have is that I have use several minutes of Skype-to-Skype calls this morning, started with 37 Off-Peak minutes used, now after the Skype-to-Skype call, I show 86 minutes used.
The calls are coming out of my plan and not the Unlimited Skype. Thankefully, these are the Off-Peak, but I plan to use during Peak Times, and this doesn't work for me.
When Making or Receiveing the calls, I see the Skype Logo, I'm told it's a Skype Call, and the call is to/from the 404941xxxx area.
To further verify, I just made a test to the Skype Echo123 service.... Off Peak jumped to: 87 minutes used.
