Is there a legitimate virus protection app that will scan downloaded apps and mp3's for viruses and malware?
I doubt that you really need an antivirus app, but if you really want one there is one called "Lookout Mobile Security" that is rated very highly and is free.
As long as your phone has been has not been "Changed" from stock in a way that Motorola and VZW does not allow, there are not currently a way for a virus to infect your phone. Keep an eye on free apps you install which want more access than they need, this will prevent the misuse of your contact info and other data.
