deleting apps

how do i delete apps ?   I have tried to drag the app into the trash bin,  but they don't go away.

You can't delete native applications such as YouTube/Amazon. However the ones you downloaded, you:

Press Market>Press Menu>Downloads>Click the app you want to delete and click "uninstall".
