Can anyone recommend a good app for reading public library ebooks?
nook
Kindle
Aldiko
eReader (I think that's the name of app, anyway.)
Kindle is the best app to go with. It's free!
Most library books have DRM. You will want to ask your libraian what ebook readers are compatable.
I've been using the Nook app. It's very legible on the Droid, free and extremely stable. Plus it can be linked to your Barnes and Noble library.
Great, thank you!
I use Kindle and it has been working quite well so far.
I use 3 Apps but my Fav is Laputa - Many current Free books - I just finished "the girl with the dragon tattoo" & already have the next two on my phone! Also reading the James Patterson books. I have used Aldiko & have the Kindle app for buying books.
