gmail

Question

I want to keep the gmail calendar synced but I don't want to get notified everytime I get an email. How can I turn that off without unsyncing the account?

You might want to check the accounts and sync under settings. In my Android phone I can choose which parts of gmail I want synced. The choices include Gmail, contacts, and calendar. Try unchecking gmail and leave the others checked. Hope that helps.
