The Walt Disney Company recently announced a price increase for the Disney Bundle and Disney+ starting on 10/17/24. We wanted to be sure you’re aware how you’re affected if you have a promotional subscription through Verizon.
How does the Disney price increase affect my subscription through Verizon?
The impact of the price increase depends on how you’re subscribed to Disney:
- If your subscription to Disney Bundle is included with your mobile plan (i.e., Play More Unlimited, Get More Unlimited), the subscription continues to be included without any change to your bill, as long as you keep your existing, eligible plan.
- If you have a Disney+ promotional subscription through Verizon (e.g., Disney+ Premium [No Ads] included for 6 months or 12 months), the price increase doesn’t affect your promotional subscription. There won’t be additional charges on your bill.
- When your promotional subscription ends, or if you change to a mobile plan that’s not eligible for the promotion, unless you cancel the subscription, you’ll be charged the full price and the new pricing will apply.
- If you’re currently paying full price for Disney+ Basic, Disney+ Premium or the Disney Bundle on your Verizon monthly bill, the new rate will take effect on or after 10/17/24. The price changes as of 10/17/24 are:
- Disney+ Basic (With Ads) from $7.99/mo to $9.99/mo.
- Disney+ Premium (No Ads) from $13.99/mo to $15.99/mo.
- Disney Bundle (Disney+ [No Ads], Hulu [With Ads], ESPN+ [with Ads]) from $18.99/mo to $21.99/mo.
Good to know: You can manage your subscriptions anytime in My Verizon.
