Calls going straight to voicemail, no missed call notifications

The issue I am having is this: My work calls me but it never rings or provides a notification that I am receiving a call. Then all of a sudden I have a voicemail from them yet I have no missed call. It is as if my phone never rings.

On their end, when they call, it is silent for a few seconds and then goes to voicemail.

I would like to add that I have no issue calling them back once I notice I have a new voicemail.

, Thank you for reaching out to us on Social Media! I regret knowing you're having issues with your service and connectivity is important! Have you tried a Network Reset? If not, what type of device do you have? Typically, that helps get the device back on the network.

Same issue. I’ve missed information from my doctor because of this. Verizon is clueless. I spent hours in the store with them and they have no idea. The mods here have no idea and just parrot let us reset your device even when other customers have had this happening on multiple devices. Verizon used to be reliable but is about as far from it as can be these days. Switching to a different carrier since no one at Verizon is competent enough to look into this issue that impacts multiple customers even with good signal and on multiple devices.
