Apple One Perk setup not working

I started a new Verizon account and decided that the perk I would like is the Apple One.  When I go to the services and perks page it says I need to setup Apple One.  I click the button and am told I am being sent a text so that I may set it up.  The text has a link that I click and it goes to a web page that says I need to update my iphone IOS.  I check and my IOS is up to date to the latest version.  So I am unable to setup Apple One.

What do I need to do to get this working?

the fix is to change your default browser on your phone to Safari. Mine was Chrome, and no matter how many times I cleared my history/cookies/cache, it said the same thing every time, that I needed to upgrade to the latest iOS even though I had the latest version. I changed my default browser to Safari and the link from Verizon worked.

Hi Myra_Tinaro.  We are so glad you reached out to put those finishing touches on the Apple One Perk and save on these popular Apple services.  Have you subscribed to any of these Apple services before?  Are you using your current Apple ID email?  We are sending you a private message to reply to so we can get deeper into the account details.

Mine also won’t let me set it up. My phone is up to date, and the Apple one perk won’t work for me either, and I’d really like it to :(.

Apple One perk is a great one and I definitely want you to be able to use it. Can you share more details at what part in the process you're running into trouble?

I am in the same boat. Did they tell you how to redeem the perk?
