Apple Watch Backordered

Any idea why so many Verizon products are on backorder? I ordered an Apple Watch on Dec. 2nd, had an update that it’d ship on the 10th, and have not received any other communication about it. I also work for a massive company that supplies phones for employees, and they’ve even said that all Verizon orders are on hold due to backordering. Anyone else have this issue right now, or is there some explanation from Verizon for this? I’m about to cancel the order and go to Best Buy and get one.

I am still waiting also. It was supposed to be sent out from back order on September 6th. Still showing back order. Not sent out yet.
I called before then. They never stayed why it was on back order. They stated it was showing to be shipped on the 6th. Why offer a deal? Let you order. Then later show back order.

I too have a Apple Watch series 9 pink in color on back order and also stated it will ship on the 6th with no communication and can’t get an answer

Same. Ordered 2 new watches in November. One for me and one for my wife. Mine shipped immediately, hers went on back order. Originally supposed to be delivered Dec 27th. It’s January and is still on back order. Only difference was size of the watch.

Also still waiting on a watch I ordered 12/3. After I put my order in and paid, it said it was on back order. Shipping was originally for 1/3, but still not shipped with no updates or communication.

I ordered an Apple Watch series 10 on Dec 3. The original shipment date was Jan 3, when I checked my order status on the 3rd the shipment date changed to “back ordered” estimated to ship Feb 14. Not sure what’s going on either

Ordered the watch on 1/23/25, it said it would ship on 2/7/25. The site now shows it as backordered. Is this an issue with all products, or just the style I purchased. This was supposed to be a gift! Smh I’m about to just cancel it all together.
