Call merging not working

I do business on my phone, where I need to call a client and call a business and have a 3-way call. Recently when I attempt to call the second number the call doesn’t connect and I get a recording stating “Welcome to Verizon”

Hi Kuraikon. This can be a problem for you when merging does not function. What model of phone are you using? The "Welcome to Verizon" is one of those messages we really don't want to hear! When was the last time you were able to conference call successfully? Any changes since then?
