Can an eSim work with my Verizon iPhone 13 Pro while in England?

Hey all.
Couple basic questions:
Is my Apple iPhone 13 Pro an unlocked phone, for purposes of using an eSim
And when I take this phone to the UK next month, do you recommend activating a UK esim (like Three or another brand) to make calls and do mapping and such?
Any other general thoughts on using eSims with the iPhone 13 Pro?

Hi Tommygs, we hope you have an exciting trip to the UK. Please see our device lock policy here: https://www.verizon.com/about/consumer-safety/device-unlocking-policy you will want this verified before you leave.

Hey Melissa and you Verizon support people. THANKS.
So if I bought my IPhone 13 Pro 14 months ago, that phone is now unlocked, so I can use an eSim in Europe? Correct?

You're very welcome! While we cannot guarantee coverage with any specific international carrier, the answer is yes, as long as the device was purchased and activated more than 60 days ago, it is unlocked and eligible to be activated with other carriers including those outside the US.

So if I purchase and activate a new iPhone 15 from Verizon and then travel to the UK 15 days later, I can’t add a second esim from a UK provider? I have to wait 60 days?

Yes, you would have to wait 60 days for the phone to unlock before any other carrier's eSIM will work.
I'm not a Verizon employee, just another customer trying to help.
