Can i move my sim card from a wireless ipad to an iphone without going through verizon?
Happy Tuesday! Being on top of your account is crucial, especially if you are managing your equipment.
You can activate the device by following the instructions on this link: https://www.verizon.com/support/knowledge-base-209087/.
Here is a helpful activation video: https://www.verizon.com/support/how-to-activate-device-video/.
Keep in mind a plan change will be needed as you are moving to a different device. Check out our new packages through this page: https://www.verizon.com/plans/.
Hope this helped.

An iPad runs using data only and doesn't do voice calls (although you can video call). If you were to transfer the SIM from the iPad to an iPhone, then the phone would not have full functionality.
No. The SIM card and the line of service associated with the iPad isn't provisioned as a wireless phone line and is a data only line. It won't work for voice calls and text messages. You either need a new SIM and the line has to be reconfigured to a voice line.
Could i just use the phone for internet access like the IPad? Thanks
