I have an iPhone 14 pro max and need to know if there is a way to lock/password protect the settings on the phone. The user (my teenager) keeps changing the settings - turning on iMessage, FaceTime, etc. Turned off location sharing and removed the Find My app several times. They have changed settings so data use doesn’t show, phone calls no longer show, have added a vpn, and the list goes on.
Taking the phone away isn’t feasible due to a medical issue. Any recommendations??

I have not found any way to lock using specific apps. If you don't want your child to use them, you'd have to uninstall the apps from their phone and then set a passcode lock on downloading from the Apple App Store per the instructions in the Apple Support link a few posts higher up.

Hello, SassySouthern67, we know an iPhone can be an important tool, especially when a loved one has a medical issue. You can set parental controls to help set certain restrictions. Click here: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201304 for additional details.

Sorry that doesn’t quite answer the question. I know all about parental controls (I’ve used them) however parental controls does not stop them from changing settings.
