I learned something today that I found very odd. You can’t purchase a new IPhone outright. The store (Best Buy) informed me, Apple is the most difficult to work with due to fraud protection. You must tie the new phone to an account or line. I wasted 3 + hours as the poor Verizon authorized guy called number after number. They flagged the account for fraud and we the got on the line with a lady who I for one couldn’t understand a word she said . The Verizon specialist helping me at the store. after asking the Verizon lady on the fraud alert to repeat her at least 3 x per sentence was able to make out what she was saying . I would bet money she rides a camel to work . Need I say more. So we got fraud flag removed and we started process over and now the entire deal is locked up and I have to wait 24 hrs to go back in and try to beg them to take $1,300 for a phone . I feel like I am trying to earn their business. The customer retention at Verizon is sub par if anything at all. They don’t care about the customers. I have jumped through more hoops for them asking them to take my money only to be told NO so far. If only there was some type of comparable competitor where I live. I would gladly pay more even to leave these people. Everything is a pain with them. I log in and it thanks me for being a customer for 6years . F -that . You treat me like garbage.
