We ordered 3 new iPhone 16s on October 8th. Shipping date was October 25th- suppose to ship within 2 days. It’s now November 1st and we have no update and no phones. Tried calling and they keep giving us the run around no one can give us answers. I would like an update at least!!!!

I placed an order in the same time frame and have had several chats with agents. Not one has been able to give a straight answer. I finally got one to admit that they can’t give any hard shipping dates, because they don’t know when stock will be replenished. Orders will be fulfilled in the order they were requested. I’m concerned about my trade-in value. Got a notice that I have 22 days to trade in my devices. Already aware of an unending backlog and still giving expirations on trade-ins with threats of devaluation.

I’ve been a customer for 12+ yrs and have not had issues with upgrading in the past. My trade-in was initiated on 10/9 date of purchase. The initial ship date on my order was 10/25 at time of purchase. Now there is no estimated date and every time I try to inquire about shipping there are “technical difficulties “. It’s very frustrating when there no correspondence or updates from Verizon.

It is correct, as you shared previously, that we are unable to provide specific shipping dates for devices if they are on backorder as we are unable to confirm when stock would be replenished. We know you are concerned about your trade and the notifications you are receiving, however, we will ensure that you receive your eligible promotional offer once the devices are in shipped out. Appreciate the effort, but it appears it’s just a waiting game at this point. I’m pretty sure that every customer is just asking for transparency and not a comms “blackout” from Verizon. You should put out a notice and just take the hit. This situation was not handled very well.

Someone said they managed to get the new iPhone faster buying direct from Apple, after their Verizon order went on backorder and couldn't get any status updates. Whether or not buying direct will get you a Verizon variant phone or only a factory unlocked one, don't know.
I'm not a Verizon employee, just another customer trying to help.
