Device stuck as trade-in for cancelled order

My device is associated with a cancelled trade-in, from 2024. The device that was ordered, an iPhone 15, never arrived. The order was cancelled, but the IMEI for my current device is still associated as a trade-in with that cancelled order. I’d like to upgrade now, but I’m not able to take advantage of the offer because my phone can’t be traded in. I’ve spent time on the phone with Verizon representatives, but they have been unable to resolve the issue.
