I was recently a victim of a hack where the hacker stole my apple cloud ID and password. The malicious actor managed to changed my password and the phone number associated with my Cloud ID.  As you know, that means i cannot use my apps, apple pay or all tor some of the features on the phone except to  make calls or receive calls. I reached out to apple for help and they said i needed to upload my phone's proof of purchase. Since March 2024, I have been calling Verizon for my proof of purchase and they have not been able to help. It's really sad,  worse yet unprofessional. Multiple times the customer representative told me the proof was sent to me in the mail. If that's true wont I receive it by now since March???  Per their suggestion, I should go to one of the corporate locations to get the proof printed which I did however, because the purchase date is Nov 2022, the location doesn't have access to records from that far back.

When I asked to speak to supervisor or someone high up in the chain who may possibly have more privileges to dig in more and find my proof of purchase, I will be bounced around until i get tired of waiting and give up that day. The way I have  been treated by this company not only upset me but sadden me.  My phone was purchased Nov 2022 and it's iPhone 14 Pro

Sorry to hear your Apple account got hacked and the crook messed up all your app access.  I did some digging around on the Verizon website, and unfortunately it appears only 1 year's worth of receipts are kept in the Documents and Receipts section of your My Verizon account which is probably also why the store employees couldn't pull anything up either.  Don't know if you can get something through the My Orders section of My Verizon?  Or can Apple Support take something like the IMEI of your iPhone belonging to your account and being active with said account?

Thank you for your suggestion. I tried to submit my IMEI to apple but it was rejected as not a sufficient proof of purchase. And because I submitted something, according to Apple, I only have one more chance left to submit another document. Reason, I have been son patient with hope that Verizon will find my receipt since March but nothing. You'd think in 2024 Verizon would archive those receipts for  up to 7 years and bring them out upon request by customers. What's the Cloud for then??? AWS S3 could be used for that purpose in my opinion.
