IPhone 16 keeps going to voicemail after one ring. I have tried airplane mode being off I have checked focus and I did a reset and it is still happening. I followed everything on the internet to do. I was on your support for an hour with them to transfer and hang up on me. No call back.

None of that worked. I finally got someone that found a connection issue from your server not on my end. She said it kept dropping or low signal to the server but said it wasn't my phone. Anyway that fixed the issue once she reset it and i had to restart my phone.

We're sorry to hear your calls are going straight to voicemail, tdfsu2005. We'd like to take a closer look into this and ensure calls are working again. Please tell us more about this. When did this issue start? Is this happening on all calls or is it sporadic? Have you checked to make sure Do Not Disturb is turned off, http://spr.ly/6603fxfoh.

I went though all the problem checks with the Verizon lady before we got disconnected. She was sending me to upper support. It's been going on for two days now

Not sure why iPhone users have been reporting this problem with calls all going to voicemail immediately of late.  You're luckier than most if your phone rings once before the call goes to VM because I've seen a number of other threads where people reported they don't even get a missed call notification.  You mentioned making sure all your focus modes are off and doing a network reset.  Apologies in advance if you've already tried these other things without success, but what about:

  • checking that your carrier settings are up to date
  • making sure VoLTE is enabled
  • checking that your iPhone is not set to ONLY use 5G (I'd use either "5G Auto" if you have 5G in your area so the phone will do automatic best band selection, or if there is no 5G where you are, set the phone to "LTE")
  • if the problem occurs while you're on WiFi, that your router isn't running on IPv6, as IPv6 causes problems with how Verizon does WiFi Calling (you must either disable IPv6 or do some technical tweaking to get it to work with IPv6)
  • looking elsewhere on the internet such as the Apple support forums or Reddit for tips
