Okay I had the same issue and went through weeks and weeks of talking to support reps and nothing helped. If you just transferred to Verizon and you can receive texts from iPhone users but most android you will not, you can make calls but can not receive calls, your RCS message on and off toggle states is waiting to activate, this is all happening because your line is stuck between two carriers. I had the same issues and finally got a rep that knew what they were doing and found a red flag next to the porting of it all. So it was too late to get ahold of Tier Two tech support. I called them the next day and all they did was port my number again. I had to provide them with a new transfer pin from the old carrier and the account number and in a matter of a split second after the porting was done everything was working as it should. The RCS messages took about 24 hours to finally go away and it all worked. It happened again when I switched a second line over to Verizon and this time I knew what it was got straight to tier two tech support and it was fixed within hours of setting up the phone. So that’s what is going on! Your line is stuck between two carriers. It has to be ported over again by a tier two agent at Verizon
