Dear Verizon Customer Support,
I hope you are doing well. I recently purchased an iPhone from the United States and activated it with Verizon. As per Verizon's policy, the phone should automatically unlock after 60 days, allowing me to use a SIM card from a different carrier. However, despite the 60-day period passing, I am still unable to switch to my korea SIM. The phone is showing a "SIM locked" message and is not allowing me to use the new SIM.
According to your website, phones should automatically unlock after 60 days, but this has not happened in my case. Could you kindly assist me with the following:
Why is my iPhone 16 Pro still showing "SIM locked" after the 60-day period?
Are there any additional steps I need to take to unlock the phone?

Resolution Update: Based on what you shared, you bought from a third party and the device is showing as locked with Verizon, you’ll need to reach out to the original seller you purchased from. You can view our device unlocking policy for post pay and prepaid devices here: https://www.verizon.com/about/consumer-safety/device-unlocking-policy.

Was the phone used on Verizon's network for the 60 days? If you leave the country and the phone goes into roaming, I don't think that counts.
I'm not a Verizon employee, just another customer trying to help.
