I hope you are doing well. I recently purchased an iPhone 16 Pro from the United States and activated it with Verizon. As per Verizon's policy, the phone should automatically unlock after 60 days, allowing me to use a SIM card from a different carrier. However, despite the 60-day period passing, I am still unable to switch to my Indian SIM. The phone is showing a "SIM locked" message and is not allowing me to use the new SIM.
According to your website, phones should automatically unlock after 60 days, but this has not happened in my case. Could you kindly assist me with the following:
Why is my iPhone 16 Pro still showing "SIM locked" after the 60-day period?
Are there any additional steps I need to take to unlock the phone?
Can you confirm whether the phone is eligible for unlocking, and if so, when can I expect it to be unlocked?
