Hey, I have bough a phone in America, But when I reached my desired country and try to unlock the sim option because it was showing that it is locked.
The website I used to unlock the phone give me the error that the phone is stolen and is locked by the Verizon.
I am not in America. But I have the phone box each and every thing no I cloud lock nothing. The issue is coming at the stolen part.
Please do help me with this matter.
I have chat to a representative he says that I have to come to the physical store of Verizon but how can I come just for this issue. Can this issue be solved virtually.
Thanks

Hate to tell you this, but you are completely out of luck as the phone cannot be unlocked remotely. You should try to get a refund on the phone.

I don't know the circumstances of how you bought the phone in the US before going to Ghana, but there is a misperception that a Verizon phone will unlock just by waiting 60 days, which is not true. The Verizon customer service reps are correct when they say you must use the phone on Verizon for 60 days.

Hello, Aashir. Thanks so much for this info. I see you stated that you are not in the U.S. In order for us to unlock the phone, we would need to check the device to see if it is eligible. Please see our Device Unlocking policy below. Lastly, if the phone is locked for not meeting the qualifications, we are unable to unlock the device.
