Traded my iPhone 12 pro a few months ago and Verizon cancelled and took back their promo credit.
At first Verizon said they didn't receive it in time even though I showed them the tracking number which clearly showed that it was received before the deadline.
2nd attempt to fix they said that they never received the phone. Again shared tracking number that clearly showed they received it.
3rd attempt they tried to say that the phone was damaged. I've been a Verizon customer for over 20 years never had an issue with trade-ins. They apologized again and said they would take care of it.
Checked my bill again and still no promo credit.
Now I have to try to call them back again to resolve.
