My job requires that I have access to getting 2FA text messages for several websites. I have had an iphone for many, many years and have never had issues receiving. Yesterday morning (12/9/24) it was working fine, then by the afternoon, it stopped. I was chatting with a Verizon agent for hours this morning until one ended the chat and the other said they couldn't help me because it is an apple app (I use imessage). I'm going to try this route to get any help. I have resetted my phone SO MANY TIMES including a full reset & network reset, I have turned imessages off and on, send by text is on, I've turned airplane mode off and on, Verizon has reset my network from their end. My partner (we're on the same Verizon record and have the same plan) can get these notifications. I need help as I cannot do my job in its fullest because I cannot get these notifications any longer. I have an unlimited plan.
I am also having an issue receiving a 2FA for a Bitcoin app I have. Did you find a solution?
Thank you for lifting your concern. Let's get things moving in the right direction. Is it only that particular app that is impacted?
