Not Receiving Short Code SMS

I switched from AT&T to Verizon yesterday and have not been able to receive the verification codes from my apps that require a two-step verification process so I am locked out of my accounts. I have restarted my phone several times along with the network settings. I am still not receiving verification codes from my apps outside of Verizon. Please help!
