I’ve been a Verizon customer for 23 years. I went in a couple of weeks ago to look into getting a new phone. My current phone I thought was a free promo phone because of the commercials that you keep seeing on TV. The Verizon worker informed me that I had to finish paying off this phone before I could get a new one, even though I went in With the thought that this phone was a free phone. Nothing is free when it comes to Verizon. so I paid off the phone so I could get a new one and was informed that my old plan I was too old so I was being charged extra for but I didn’t know that. I was also charged a $35 activation fee at the store when I was looking at my bill, it jumped up 50+ dollars so customer service told me that Verizon also charges a $35 activation fee so I had to pay it twice. They have no problem with charging me for two plans at one time because I was in the middle of a pay cycle. They have no problem charging me for a free phone that I was paying onfor the last three years. they have no problem adding extra charges to my phone. They have no problem not honoring Old promo ads. loyalty doesn’t mean anything. Keep a close eye on your bill. They have no problem with screwing you over.
