In general texting works on my iPhone 13 with Verizon service but I have at least two contacts from whom I have always received texts but starting sometime in April or May 2024 I am no longer receiving their texts but they still receive texts from me. After we figured out what was happening they now need to call me since I don’t get their texts. At least one of them has Verizon service. I researched this problem on the internet and the only remaining suggested solution is “check with your cell phone carrier”. That’s what I am doing here but I will also be calling Verizon tech support. . I have had a smart phone since they were introduced and this is the first time a situation like this has happened to me. It would be appreciated if anyone can help. Thank you!

Hello, playball0310. Thanks so much for this info as it does help. Yes, an issue has been identified that another carrier was experiencing an outage which caused issues when attempting to communicate with them. Which provider does these contacts have?
