How did you get Verizon to unlock your phone? I am trying to sell this 15 and need it unlocked. The phone is fully paid off.

Resolution Update: By partnering with support, we were able to submit a request to unlock the device since it has been past the 60 day period. If others have similar questions regarding our unlock policy. You can find additional details here: https://www.verizon.com/about/consumer-safety/device-unlocking-policy

Glad we could get this resolved for the original poster, and as always we’re a few clicks away should anyone need us.

Hi,

If the phone is fully paid off and it's been more than 60 days since activation, Verizon should automatically unlock it. No extra steps needed. But if it’s still locked, just call Verizon customer service or chat with them online, they can manually unlock it for you. Be sure the phone isn't flagged for fraud or lost/stolen.

they did not automatically unlock it. the Verizon customer service/chat was worthless. it's better to contact the executive team.

I believe it's been unlocked already by now but I am no longer in possession of the phone.
