I bought the iPhone 16 about 2 months ago. My bill for next month is about $200 higher than last month. There is a $178 charge under One-time charges & credits called Point of sale equip chrg/crdt. What is this?

Verizon customer service is useless. The online chat is just an AI bot. The phone reps verify you with the app but it doesn’t work. The community people also do the app verification but that doesn’t connect either. Then they send you a link for a private chat and that doesn’t connect. My phone is brand new but none of this tech works. Even the app face verification doesn’t remember that I set it up so I have to sign in every time I open the app. Time to switch to a new carrier.
