Replacement SIM with existing number on old since it was lost and got new phone

Hi, I have a question. So i recently got a new phone since my old one broke. My SIM card was lost and I cannot find it. I would like to add my old number on to my new iphone without getting a new number. Where and how do I get a SIM with the same number as my old phone? Or is there any other options?

I'm glad to hear you were able to get a new phone, matt22609. I know I wouldn't want a new number myself, and we definitely have options. Depending on the make & model of the phone, we may be able to activate it via eSIM. Otherwise, the quickest way to get the new phone activated with your existing number and a physical SIM card is to visit your local Verizon store. Hey Joseph,

It is an Iphone 12, how would I go about activating via eSIM. Through the app or.... I want to keep the same plan and just transfer the number to this device since I will not be using the other phone. If it is through the app what are the steps to getting this done.
