SIM Card Error

I am extremely frustrated. For the second month in a row, my SIM Card has randomly locked despite no changes in my account. Last month, I was able to resolve it by logging in on a desktop and looking up my PUK number. This month the PUK doesn't work, even though I'm typing it correctly. I've submitted it twice and failed, I don't want to be rejected a third time.
Verizon chat doesn't work because for some reason log in only works on Safari, and chat won't load on Safari. Chat does load on Chrome, but login doesn'ty work, so I get no help.

Thanks for the clarification. I'm a Firefox user and don't have any problems logging into my account, so maybe try that? The chat may not be working because there isn't anyone on the other end to pick up at this time. Would try during business hours during the week. The CS reps who hang out in the forums aren't here late at night or on Sundays, so the only other thing I can think of would be to visit a corporate Verizon store as they are open on Sundays. Hope you get a resolution soon.
[edit] I just logged into my account via my PC to see what would happen if I clicked on the live chat thing, and the chat window opens fine with Firefox, but all there is (for now) is an AI bot since it's the middle of the night as I write this post.

If getting a new SIM card hasn't fixed the error messages, have you made sure your phone's software is up to date? If it is several years old or has been dropped or some other thing happened which could have damaged it, could also be the hardware going out, or the phone is too old for current network technology. If the phone is eSIM-compatible, try switching to an eSIM.

I looked it up and my phone is eSIM compatible. But the QR Code on Verizon's site says that it's no longer valid.

Just checked elsewhere on the internet, and while it is possible to convert your current, existing SIM card to an eSIM, I think you're better off getting a completely new eSIM, which is something Verizon would have to look into for you. If there is something wrong with your current SIM, copying it into an eSIM file is going to propagate whatever errors into the eSIM and won't fix your problems.
I am a little concerned about your comment in your first post on how some of your apps aren't quite working. That can either be caused by outdated software, or the phone is dying. ☹️ iPhones reportedly last up to 6 years, but that can vary depending on how much you use the phone and how well it's been taken care of.

No, the app login and chat issues were on the desktop.
