How do you get a new SIM card for a iPhone SE that doesn’t have a SIM card?

Hopefully this link will help:
If the phone has no SIM card slot and is eSIM only, then I want to say getting a new eSIM is just downloading a new one, but if there's only one eSIM supported, then you'd have to delete the existing eSIM, which would temporarily make your phone lose service until the new one is activated. My phone doesn't do eSIM but someone at Verizon may have to do the eSIM replacement for you.
I'm not a Verizon employee, just another customer trying to help.

Beth78931, this device supports both a physical SIM Card and a eSIM Card (virtual). You can receive a free physical SIM Card from us as we can send you one, or you can visit a direct store to receive one. Lastly, you can activate the eSIM Card.
