SOS Mode

Why does my phone keep going into SOS mode and dropping calls.  This has been happening for months now on all our phones.  We have had verizon for years and no issues, then the last few months. Sos mode all the time.  I am tired of having to go into airplane mode and out or turn my phone on and off.  I do not want to reset my phone and lose all my data because of this issue.  Why is this not fixed and how are you going to resolve our issue?

Hello Donnala3, we understand the importance of having a strong and reliable signal at all times. We wouldn't want out customers to have the inconvience of restarting their phones frequently to get rid of SOS. We'd be more than happy to help find you a permanent solution. What steps have you already taken to resolve this problem? Are your device up to date with their latest software update?

I am having the exact same issue.  I go from 3-4 bars of usable signal to 0 bars or SOS mode for absolutely no reason at all.

It happens in multiple locations, so it's not isolated to one tower.

There is clearly something wrong with Verizon's network and how they're doing band/frequency handoffs.

We hate to see that you are having issues with fluctuating signal and want to take a deep dive into that with you. We are sending over a private message so we can get additional details.
