Text coming in bundles or mat at all

Ever since upgrading my phone to the iPhone 16 pro since launch I’ve been having text message coming in bundles hours after being sent. Sometime I don’t even receive them.

I’ve reset my network, hard reset my phone, I’ve even completely reset my phone back to factory settings and didn’t load anything from the iCloud.

Great example is last night my family were texting in our group (3 iPhone, 1 Android) and apparently I didn’t receive about 40+ messages and about 2 hours later some message came through.

What’s my next step?

Is your phone's software up to date? Also check if the carrier settings need to be updated.

If the Android user has an older phone with an older version of Android, it's possible that their phone doesn't support RCS texting format, so you may have to tweak the RCS settings on your phone. Make sure you have SMS and MMS enabled.
