I’m incredibly frustrated right now. I pre-ordered the iPhone 16 pro max on September 14th, I did an early upgrade through the app and paid with Apple Pay. I had an estimated delivery date of October 11 (which was completely fine by me). Yesterday, I get notified by my bank (not even Verizon) that the payment declined. I went to Verizon today and found out that my order was voided. Why?!? Is it because I used Apple Pay?! If that’s not something I can use, why is it an option? Long story short, I had to place a NEW order in the store today and now I have an estimated delivery date of November 8th. How ridiculous. You could’ve just taken a new form of payment for the existing order but I was told it had to be cancelled and a new order had to be placed. I’m not sure how I feel about Verizon moving forward.
