Hello, I will be in Scotland for three months and was told by the Verizon rep the best deal for international travel was changing plans to the Unlimited Ultimate instead of the $100.00 a month international plan. My calls will be mainly to the US. Can you tell me if changing plans is the best for me? Thank you

What a great tip you have planned d12342. The Unlimited Ultimate is a super choice that also includes Unlimited talk, text and data when traveling in 210+ countries and destinations:

--10GB roaming High speed data/ month then lowered speed (2G) for remainder of the month
--Unlimited calls within the visited country and back to the U.S.
--Calls to third country are charged international long distance rates
--Unlimited text from 210+ countries to the U.S.
--International MHS Included:
--All MHS data usage counts toward international data usage thresholds of:
--10GB roaming high speed data per month
--Lowered speed (2G) for the remainder of the month
--International MHS data speeds depend on local network capability.

Can you purchase more international high speed data after you used the 10GB under unlimited ultimate plan?  What is the cost and how much data do you get?  Can you purchase additional units of data if needed or only once in the billing cycle?

That is a great question, as I tend to use a lot of my mobile data as well, sgf33. Once the 10gb of high speed international data is used, you may be able to purchase a speed boost for 2GB of additional high speed data for $10/ea.
