How to transfer contacts from old AT&T phone

I'm a new customer and am looking for steps I need to take to transfer the contacts from my old Samsung Flight II (AT&T) to my new Verizon (Pantech Jest). I've been Googling all evening and can't find a specific way to do it.

Thanks!

My best guess would be to type them in one at a time, or add them back as people contact you.  They are both "basic phones" and as such, are not capable of importing and exporting the contact list very easily.  Add to that two different carriers, on two different cellular technologies (GSM vs CDMA)...

You can try BitPim (bitpim.org) but I've only used it to EXPORT information from an older phone, not put information into another.  The file format and field structure of the address books is likely different and will not be identical, and you may end up with a brick on your hands.

My advice is to add them in manually.  I wish I had a better suggestion!
