Charged for WiFi extender when I Was Told By Customer Service To Keep It

I upgraded to whole home wifi which included a third network extender for my home. I got an email stating that I was instructed to return an extender. I reached out to Verizon customer support who told me “there is no need to return any extender and please ignore any emails I am receiving”
Thankfully, I took a screenshot of the chat so that I have evidence.
My usual monthly bill is $75 and Verizon has charged me $145 for a “unreturned wifi extender” charge.
I am requesting Verizon Support to refund this amount as I connected with a support agent who told me to keep the extender.
This is very disappointing and shows a lack of service on Verizon’s part.
