Guaranteed price not guarantee

We got the 300 MBPS Fios home internet deal last August which stated that $20 for 2 years guaranteed. However we received a bill of $29.99 this March, we called customer service and the representative helped us to fix the bill. This month we received email saying that we can only received $10 discount which means the bill will be $49.99. This is the current price of 300 MBPS Fios posted on Verizon website. We tried to call customer service and the representative could not help us. Is it false advertisement? We could not get what was promised. So disappointed

Itโ€™s been two weeks and I havenโ€™t received any response from Verizon agents. I guess I should not expect anything.
Today in Flushing Queens, I saw similar deal for 300 MBPS plan, $20 for 3 years guaranteed. I have talked to the sales rep, she said different teams in the same area provide different deals to their customers. But when I called customer service, they denied that Verizon has such a deal.

This is just me, but the advertisement shown in the image looks fishy because it is cheaply done and doesn't appear to be coming from Verizon.  There are no company logos, and the wording is broken.  In a sense, I think you're fortunate to have signed up with Verizon and not with whomever is doing these "ads".
