For months, I continue receiving charges of $44.99 for Fios Home Internet even though I deliberately requested my account to be closed. But it's not closed. I returned the router in July and now I am getting billed once again, this time for October. How can this be normal? Every week I spend hours talking to a Verizon Fios customer rep, I am assured they will make sure to take care of my issue, and yet it's all that never ends. It's a nightmare I can never wake up from. Meanwhile, I was told I would receive a refund for the September $44.99 charge, but I never got any such thing.
Out of my frustration, I had to switch to Comcast Xfinity because if I cannot close one Fios account, how on earth can I open a new one? This is unacceptable. I feel helpless and I feel like I'm being taken advantage of.
Verizon apparently cannot even find my account using my name, email, and phone number. I never received a digital copy of my monthly bill that showed my full account number either. This is like a zombie account that refuses to die!
What on earth can be done?! This is fraud!
