I asked multiple times for a supervisor or directions on how to file a complaint but was consistently avoided so I am taking to posting here:
I have been with Verizon over 20 years. My bills keep exponentially growing while my neighbors have all switched to a competitor and lowered their bills significantly (and better network services!) I wanted to know what my options could be with Verizon so I started a live chat. I was strung along for almost FOUR (4) hours! To the point that my laptop died because I wasn’t anticipating needing to sit in front of the screen that long. I spoke to 3 different representatives. The first one strung me along for 2 hours saying she just needed a few minutes, she was looking into it, etc. when I didn’t hear back from her for over 30 minutes, I checked in and turned out they claimed that I had gone idle! I saved the chat as proof that shows that I was consistently just being told to wait. Representative # 2 did not get me a supervisor despite me asking and passed me off to representative #3. This one got some information after about an hour or so but then continued to string me along saying I needed to wait for them to implement my new rate. I clearly expressed that I didn’t have any battery left in my laptop and would be logged out if the laptop died. They claimed they kept needing more time and from what I gather, even after almost 4 hours of chatting, when my laptop died, they ended the transaction and I’m back to square one. Verizon does not value loyalty and clearly has no regards for anyone’s time whatsoever. Completely disgusted by the awful behavior.
