Verizon Billing Increase

I've been advised repeatedly that someone from Verizon would contact me with regard to the $10.00 increase in my bill with Verizon. I have not received any communications from anyone at Verizon yet.  As a 16 year customer of Verizon, seeing marketing promoting plans lower than my own, isn't how I feel one should treat an existing customer. I would like someone from Verizon to get in touch with me or I will have no other choice but to cancel my service. Thank you.

As an aside, Verizon offered a $10.00 discount on my bill if I enrolled in autopay.  Now that I have autopay, my bill has gone up again. Additionally due to Verizon continuing to raise their bill for services, I cancelled my cable a while back, keeping only the internet and my home phone.  This shouldn't be an issue with all these price increases ~ I can have a reduction on my bill if the company gets their money directly out of my account however my bill can go up without question and no discounts are available to me?  That's not good customer care.

Verizon Home Internet price (with auto pay) was $39.99/month until last September, when the price went up to $43.99.  Now it has increased AGAIN to $49.99 (with autopay).  That's a 25% increase in 9 months, with no reasonable explanation for why, other than they can just do it.  Not happy.
