As the title suggests, Verizon erroneously removed my loyalty discount - I believe this may be because my account is new but my other family member was previously in charge of the internet bill here, and we were previously Verizon customers at the same address. Therefore, a customer service representative offered to give us the discount back on my account, since I live at the address still. This was in part due to unacceptable inconveniences I encountered trying to port a landline number over from Xfinity to Verizon, which took over 3 weeks, 10+ phone calls, and multiple people telling me my ticket had been resolved even though the issue was not actually resolved.
Now I'm noticing that the discount was removed, and they are charging me a one time fee for a service that I was previously promised I would not be charged for. (aka the tech support for landline).
Verizon, I expect this to be solved post-haste, and with a hefty discount in hand. This is unacceptable and the lack of communication is appalling to say the least. I am going to be looking for other providers in the area who have more respect for their customers, new or returning.
