Hi, I recently received a letter in the mail saying that I owe $3400 from CBE collections for Verizon wireless account opened. I never had a Verizon account or opened account. I call Verizon fraud and reported it and they flagged it and close the account. What else is should do to get this removed from my credit report and no bill? Truly sad Verizon doesn't do background checks when accounts are created or double check and just let bills accumulate in error. I am thinking about reporting this BBB, FCC, and law enforcement.. Please asst?
