Read that article. Seems AT&T is in danger of "falling behind" of Verizon of the 4g technology. But, I'm happy I'm with Verizon, regardless!:smileyvery-happy:

Check out---->Verizon Moves Closer 4

"Verizon Wireless has officially completed the technical trials of its new 4G LTE network, and is now moving on to “friendly user trials” in five cities."

LTE is rolling out this year in major cities. By 2012 coverage will double by 2013 Verizon's 3g area will be covered by LTE. Device strategy is modems first, then when viable smartphone, and finally feature phones. My guess is the devices will change with each new coverage level. Could be wrong. Devices will be backwards compatible and the 3g network will remain up.

I apologize about telling you to "read" that article. I mean't I saw and read that article. As for getting the new OS v5.0.0.419, go online with Desktop Manager, or download software from http://www.blackberry.com/downloads...646D38BC2145CA   Hope this helps.:smileysurprised:

Hi,

There is an interesting article at Crackberry about that OS at http://crackberry.com/official-os-5-0-0-419-blackberry-storm-9530-mts-mobility which you can check out.  Also, check out the article at http://crackberry.com/how-downgrade-your-blackberrys-operating-system about updating your Blackberry's OS.  Backup before you do anything.
