So, will anyone suggest a solution to the backup problem? I updated the Desktop Manager on my Mac and it will no longer connect to my 9630 Tour. It registers the phone but wont "connect" in order to back up the information. As my BB gets older, it crashes more often and backing it up becomes that much more important.
Oh my! I can certainly understand your concerns with making sure that your device information is backed up. It is always best to make sure that you have a recent back up just in case something happens. Based on the information that you have provided I would recommend uninstalling the current version of Blackberry Desktop Manager, and see if you can download the previous version that was working properly http://bit.ly/VPfK8f.
